Cambodian Food Service Workers Federation
CFSWF supports women across hotels, restaurants and food processing in Cambodia. The team is small and stretched. What moves the needle is a simple communications setup they can run safely, in two languages, without extra hands every week.
Goal
Design a “minimum lovable” comms stack: a light EN/Khmer website, a few reusable Canva templates, and a clean petition workflow with basic data hygiene. It should be fast to use, safe by default, and easy to hand over.
What you’ll do
Start remote, align on scope, and shape 2–3 deliverables that work together. Build the lightweight site, assemble the mini brand kit, and set up a petition flow the team can run repeatedly. Document as you go and record a short walkthrough so the handover sticks. If helpful, wrap with a short on-site sprint (3–10 days) — accommodation and meals on working days are provided by the host.
What we provide
A focused brief, a named focal point at CFSWF, weekly 30–45’ check-ins, and a simple progress→handover checklist. We review risks upfront (digital safety, data minimisation) and keep decisions moving.
Volunteer profile
- 2–4 hrs/week · 2–3 weeks · remote
- Optional on-site sprint (3–10 days)
- WordPress/Elementor or Canva
- Clear writer, documents as they go
- Privacy-aware; basic UX/forms a plus
Expected outcomes
Site live and low-bandwidth friendly. Two petition workflows usable out-of-the-box. Three Canva templates already reused by staff. Basic analytics + lightweight data policy. We double-check reuse at 30/90 days.
Commitment
Most missions run 2–6 weeks, 2–5 hrs/week, remote by default. Travel is optional and requires a safety protocol.
Safeguards
Do‑No‑Harm · No job substitution · Data minimisation · Safeguarding basics · Insurance & security brief if travel.
